THE THIRD CHILD

The human mind has created boundaries around itself but there are more in the world than what than what the mind can comprehend. In ancient India lines dividing homosexuals from heterosexuals were vague and we have stories proving that the Indians had space for almost everything that could ever be imagined.

But with time and due to many external  factors (only if you understand) our minds have become exclusive and have almost clogged with cultures and superstitions that we have for a very long time asked our people to hide their identity as some of them are proscriptions.
But, luckily it is no more #SECTION 377

LET'S GET BACK TO HISTORY:

✓IPC 377 came into effect in the year 1861 under The Whites.
•2009: Delhi HC decriminalized it.
•2013: SC puts it again under the criminal
             category.
•2017:SC passes the verdict that sexuality
            is a choice and is a right to privacy
            but it is still a criminal act.
√6th September 2018: SC decriminalized
                                         it.

Not to be forgotten that during all these times when India was oscillating between taboos and rights of people The Whites decriminalized it back in 1967.

Coming back to our Motherland the SC proves that India and its law is ready to accept its children as they are and will always protect their rights, freedom and desires. But the question that remains is- Are the Indians ready?! Even if the law protectors have accepted it, will the culture protectors accept the simple fact- LOVE IS LOVE.

The country with the second highest population in the world where pronouncing sex in public is still looked down upon is it easy for its people to understand that the soul is neither a male nor a female.

Randoms

Random. Well why so... because I don't know what will I be writing and why am I even writing. It's 5:30am and I have my exam coming up and I should be spending my time going through formulae...but instead I am writing. Actually, a few minutes scrolling through my FB news feed, I came across a meme with a quote in it... "Thoughts don't trap you, you trap yourself the way you think"... True and beautiful isn't it? And since then, that one line is hitting me hard. So, do we really make ourselves captive by the way we think or is it the situations that force us to think that way and even though there are numerous ways to come out of it, yet we choose not to because our mind and we find a comfort zone in it, maybe or maybe not.
